Manuscript, three large pages, a lesson by the great Gaon Rabbi Chaim Rabinovich the Rosh Yeshiva of Telz on the first Sugya of tractate bava Batra – 1930s – copying
Written at the beginning of the first page: "בע"ה שעור [מה]גר"ח זצוק"ל בענין תפיסה לאחר שנולד הספק".
On the inner page, the copyist wrote: "שמרו ע"ז [=על זה], שהעתקה בא לי ביגיעה רבה, שהי’ קשה עלי הכתב שהעתקתי ממנו שהי’ מחוק בכמה מקומות". (please protect this since its copying required much effort as the manuscript from which I copied was erased in several places).
The lesson appearing here was printed in Shi’urei Rabboteinu al Masechet Bava Batra published by the students of the Telz Yeshiva of Cleveland in 1955, stencil edition, in the name of the famed Gaon Rabbi Chaim Rabinovich, the Rosh Yeshiva of Telz (1869-1931).
[2] leaves. 34 cm. Fair condition. The two leaves are cut from side to side. Tears to the edges affecting the text. Stains. Fold lines.
