Postcard letters of blessings by the great Gaon Rabbi Meshulam Roth of Chernovich.

The postcards deal with his health and contain many blessings handwritten and signed by him. They were sent to Rabbi Alter Steinmetz and Rabbi Chanoch Schechter.

The Chassid Gaon Rabbi Meshulam Roth [1875-1963] one of the greatest rabbis of his generation. Authored the Kol Mevaser Shut and was considered a great religious authority. A Chassid of the Holy Rav of Chortkov and a disciple of the Geonim of Galicia. Was Rav of several towns including Schotz and Chernovich. After surviving the Holocaust, he immigrated in 1944 to Eretz Yisroel and settled in Jerusalem. Despite his age, he was asked to serve as a member of the Chief Rabbinate and the Chief Rabbi the Gaon Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac Herzog asked him to be his personal advisor.
