The Gaon Rabbi Shmuel Rosovsky (1913-1979), Rosh Yeshiva of the Ponovezh Yeshiva and one of the most influential Rashei Yeshivas after World War II. Was famed for his genius and love of Torah as well as for his clear and lively lessons. Immigrated to Eretz Yisroel in 1936.
