Letter by a Yeshivah Bochur from Brisk, Lithuania to the Great Gaon Rabbi Moshe Mordechai Epstein, the Rosh Yeshiva of Knesses Yisroel in Hebron with a request for an immigration certificate. 1925.
In his letter, Yehoshua, son of the late Shimon Levinhertz recalls his difficulties and requests for an immigration certificate. He expresses his great desire to study at the Knesses Yisroel Yeshiva in Hebron.
The writer was born in 1905 in Terspol, Poland and the letter was sent from his grandfather’s house in Warsaw.
