Two letters by the Gaon Kabbalist Rabbi Seraya Davlitzki. One of them to Maran the great Gaon Rabbi Yosef Sholom Elyoshiv.
The letter to Rabbi Elyoshiv, from 1973, bears the date ‘ב’ תשא תשל"ג’ and contains questions on Purim Meshulash in Jerusalem, mourning in public and Dinei Onen on such a Purim.
Rabbi Davlitzki refers to the Gaon Rabbi Elyoshiv with the title ‘מו"ר’ – my teacher and Rav.
The second letter, a postcard from 1991, is addressed to the Gaon Rabbi Aharon Zakai, an important Posek of Jerusalem. In it, he greets him for publishing his book Habayit Hayehudi, section VI, praising the book and its author.
The postcard ends with many blessings.
The Gaon Kabbalist Rabbi Seraya Davlitzki was one of the greatest Gedolei Hora’ah and Kabbalah of Bneui Berak.
