The Kabbalist Rav Rabbi Eliezer ben Rabbi Yitzchak Papo (1786-1827) author of the Mussar book Peleh Yoetz and more. Studied at the Sarajevo (Bosnia) Yeshiva and was a disciple of Rabbi Moshe Danon. After his marriage, served as Rav and as the leader of the Sephardic community of Silistra (Bulgaria) and as the leader of the Sephardic community of Bucharest.
