Extremely rare and important letter handwritten by the holy Rav Rabbi Yekutiel Yehuda of Klausenburg, informing his Rav, Rabbi Yisroel Freund of Honiad about his son’s birth. 1930s, before World War II.
A precious letter, handwritten entirely by the holy Rav Rabbi Yekutiel Yehuda of Klausenburg, author of Shefa Chaim and Divrei Yatziv, from when he was Rav of Klausenburg, informing his Rav, teacher and friend, Rabbi Yisroel Freund of Honiad, about his son’s birth.
The date and year are unknown; however the Hebrew year ‘תר"ץ’ is printed on the stationery yet the precise date is not noted. (תר"ץ-1930).
Letters by the Shefa Chaim that survived the World War are extremely rare, all the more so, such a personal and touching letter such as this one.
