Important letter handwritten and signed by the holy Gaon Rabbi Shmuel Ginzler Av Beis Din of Ober Vishova, sent to the grandson of his brother-in-law the holy Gaon Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Ehrenreich of Shamloy, following the passing of the Kedushas Yom Tov of Siget. 1904.

Important and fascinating letter.

The Kedushas Yom Tov passed away on the 29th of Shvat. This letter was written on the 1st of Adar, In it, Rabbi Shmuel Ginzler describes his heartbreak following the passing of the Kedushas Yom Tov, stating that after overcoming his sorrow, he will write, on behalf of his nephew the Rav of Shamloy, letters to the holy Gaon of Lviv (the Yeshuos Yaakov) and to Rabbi Chaim Berlin in Russia. He tells his nephew that they will surely meet at the family wedding arranged by his uncle, the Maor Hagadol of Bergsas, apparently referring to Rabbi Sholom Schwartz, Av Beis Din of Bergsas.

Later, he asks his knowledgeable nephew to see if a response exists by Maran the Kedushas Yom Tov that was sent to him, Rabbi Ginzler. He recalls there was one at least on the Sugya of Tofes Leba’al Chov. The Rav of Ober Vishova’s question was sent to the Kedushas Yom Tov when the Rav of Vishova was young and had little knowledge of the Talmud, as he himself writes, "אשר לא הגעתי עוד למחוז החפץ בים התלמוד".
