Extremely Rare! Sefer Tikkunei Hazohar printed by the printer of Kopust, 1810. Rare and has not been in auctions!
Sefer Tikkunei Hazohar, the press of the partners Yehuda, Menachem and Yisroel, the sons of Uri Sheraga Feivish Yoffe, who were known as the Printer of Kopust, Kopust – 1810.
Printed after the Zholkva 1873 edition, with a foreword including Parashat Ki Tavo of the Zohar Chadash. Added on verso of the title page is another prayer from Sefer Sharei Zion, to be said before studying Kabbalah.
Approbation by Rabbi Moshe ben Rabbi Yisroel Meoreh Tzeddek of Kopust.
Important ownership notations on the title page and flyleaf.
Double signature: ‘שייך לר’ מאיר ברי"ל’ (Belongs to Rabbi Meir Brill). This signature is apparently from the period.
Additional signatures in Sephardic script, late, from ca. the late 19th century – 1930.
104 leaves. A single, blemished and incomplete copy has been seen once in an auction. This is a complete copy. Wide sheets. Stains. Moth damage. Wear and signs of usage. New, elegant leather binding. Good condition.
