Shtar Tna’im (engagement contract) written during the Chupah of Reb Naftali Hirtz ben Rabbi Yisroel Bondy and Mrs. Leah bas Pesach Segal, signed by Rabbi Moshe ben Rabbi Zvi Hirsch [Lefler]. Gron, [1798].
"These Tna’im and Bris which were stipulated between the two parties during the Chupah"; Shtar Tna’im signed by the bridegroom and his father and by the bride’s mother and confirmed by Rabbi Moshe ben Rabbi Zvi Hirsch [Lefler] and with his signature.
[2] pp. 23X37 cm. The Shtar Tna’im appears on one of the pages and on the other, it was written "The last Tna’im belong to Rabbi Pesach Segal" [the bride’s father]. Possibly, handwritten entirely by Rabbi Moshe ben Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Lefler, whose confirmed the document with his signature.
Rabbi Moshe Lefler – the Rav of Gron [Northern Hungary] already since (1811). A sermon he had delivered before his community in honor of Prince Alexander of Rodna was printed in Oiben in (1820). His two sons were Rabbi Yosef Lefler, the Rav of the Vershvor and Gron communities, and Rabbi Yehuda Leib Lefler, the Rav of the Zashombak and Semnitz communities and the Rav of Rabbi Yosef Chaim Sonnenfeld. Rabbi Moshe Lefler is presumably ‘The Rav of Gron’ refereed to by responses of the Chasam Sofer in 1821.
