Manuscript, Rashi’s commentary on the Torah. [Yemen], the 18th century.
[155] leaves. 21 cm. One of the leaves is narrower than the others. A leaf is missing from Parashat Vayechi (Bereshit 48, 7-49, 9) and only a small part of it remained and is detached. In addition, the last leaf is missing. With glosses and additions on the margins of the leaves.
On verso of the first leaf, a signed notation describing the dedication of the book by Mrs. Sa’ida bat Said Alenabi in 1777.
Renewed binding. Stains, including traces of mold. Tears, blemishes and taping to the edges of the leaves. The last leaf is missing and from another leaf, only a small detached passage remained. Fair-good condition.
