2-214, [1] leaves. 20 cm. Without the title page. With owner’s signatures including signatures of the members of the Mulvany family: Yechezkel, Shmuel, Yisroel and Yosef ben Yechezkel. Appearing on leaf 187 is an owner’s notation with the name David Malach. A colophon at the end of the book as well as a poem by Rabbi Shmuel Arkovalti praising this edition, beginning with the words: ‘שתולים בבית עליון. ראו הוד במו גליון. שלמה בטוב הגיון. דבש צוף ומן ושליו’. Some handwritten corrections.
The Mulvany family – a family of the Torino community. The sage Rabbi Yisroel Mulvany served as a Shochet and Bodek of the town in the 18th century and left behind manuscripts of the book Yemin Yisroel on Hilchot Shechita.
Rabbi Favid Malach – was one of the sages and Dayanim of Livorno in the 18th century.
New binding. Without the title page. Stains. Some leaves are blemished and with losses. Moth holes. Some partly detached leaves. Several leaves with tears and blemishes that were taped or restored, most of them not affecting the text. The last leaf was taped to the flyleaf, Fair condition.
