Sefer Hamenucha, which is a book of Peirushim and Drushim [on the Rambam], on Hilchot Chametz and Matzah, Shofar, Shvitat HeAsor, Sukkah and Lulav, by Rabbi Mano’ach [ben Yaakov of Navrvona]. The press of Yonah ben Rabbi Yaakov [Ashkenazi], Kushtandina, [1718]. First edition. Rare. 

56 leaves. 20 cm. With the handwritten signature of Rabbi Shaul Adadi and his stamp: "ספרי ישיבת מ"והר א"א רב אחאי זצו"קל. הצעיר שאול אדאדי".

Rabbi Shaul Adadai (1840-1918) Rav and a famed sage of Tripoli, a Gaon and important activist. His father, Rabbi Avraham Chaim, author of Hashomer Emet and Vayikra Avraham and more, immigrated from Tripoli to Safed in 1818 and was sent abroad as a Shadar of Safed. After the earthquake of 1837, Rabbi Avraham Chaim remained in Tripoli, returning to Safed in his old age. Rabbi Shaul was one of the founders of the Talmud Torah of Tripoli and its supervisor.
