Two sections of Sefer Ein Yaakov. Harobashov 1819-1822 edition. The personal copy of the holy Tzaddik Rabbi Moshe of Zolushin, one of the leading disciples of the holy Maggid of Kozhnitz and author of the Mishpat Tzeddek elucidations, Tikkunei Shabbat and Geulat Yisroel.
In one of the volumes, on the tractates of Seder Nezikin, his personal signatures: ‘לד’ הארץ ומלואה משה בר"ג נ"י מזאלשין יע"א’. Another signature: ‘חנני ד’ צבאות גם בזה משה בר"ג נ"י מזאלשין יע"א’.
Additional ownership notations and signatures from the period and from later periods, including by Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Hacohen, Yehuda Aryeh Leib Jaskovich of Ponovich who were members of the family of the Imrei Emes of Ger.
The holy Rav Rabbi Moshe Zolushiner [1789-1831] author of Tikkunei Shabbat, Mishpat Tzeddek of Tehillim and Geulat Yisroel on the Passover Haggadah. One of the leading disciples of the holy Maggid of Kozhnitz and some say that he used to travel frequently to the Chozeh of Lublin, who revered him, saying: ‘כי מגיל עשר קידש עצמו וגופו להשם יתברך’. Saying Psalms from his book Mishpat Tzeddek was considered by many Tzaddikim a wonderful Segulah and it had many editions.
Rabbi Akiva Eiger said of him: "צדיק… הרב המופלג בתורה ובחסידות, ירא וחרד לדבר ה’". Rabbi Ephraim Zalman Margolis wrote of him in his approbation for Sefer Tikkunei Shabbat: ‘כי הוא קדוש מרחם לעבודה תמה, ומשחר עלומיו הוא שוקד על דלתי התורה, ודרכו בקודש לבוא חדר בחדר להתבודד’.
Section IV: the press of Rabbi Menachem Mendel Finkel Stain and Rabbi Moshe Zucker and Rabbi Shaul Moshe Goldstein. Harobashov, 1819. Seder nashim. [1], 1-166, 166-217 leaves. In many leaves, the edges are trimmed on border of the headings, not affecting the text itself. Ownership signatures and stamps, including of Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Hacohen of New York. Stains. No moth. Signs of fungus. Non-original binding. Good condition.
Section V: Seder Nezikin. 15, 15-135 leaves. The title page with red headings. Moth perforations. Wear. Stains. Original binding, slightly blemished. Good condition.
Good overall condition.
