‘נותן לפניכם ברכה’, Postcard Handwritten by the Holy Rav Rabbi Moshe of Stolin to Vaad Hayeshivas. 1933. 

Postcard with a request from Vaad Hayeshivas and Rabbi Aharon Berg, one of the managers of the Vaad, to help the Stolin Yeshiva and one of its students, whose father was a Rav of one of the cities (we were unable to identify its name), who wants to study at the Grodno Yeshiva. Rabbi Moshe of Stolin asks Vaad Hayeshivas to write a letter of recommendation for him. 

The postcard is handwritten and signed by Rabbi Moshe of Stolin. On its verso, his foreign address and that of the Vaad in Vilna. 

The holy Rav Rabbi Moshe of Stolin [1889-1942] the fourth son of the renowned holy Rav Rabbi Yisroel of Karlin [also known as ‘Der Frankfurter’ or the ‘Yanuka’]. Served as Admor in Stolin after the passing of his holy father and there established a large yeshiva. Many admired him and sought his advice. Was renowned for his vast knowledge of the secrets of the Torah, as well as of secular fields of knowledge. Perished in the Holocaust.
