‘הגם שחשב הרב הצדיק מוויזניצא’ Letter by Rabbi Yitzchak Yechiel Panet of Deyzh, the son of the holy Rav Rabbi Moshe of Deyzh and the brother of the Knesses Yechezkel of Deyzh, about the distribution of funds in Eretz Yisroel, the Kollel of Zibenbergen compared to the large Kollelim of Kosov, Vizhnitz and more. 1912

The letter was sent to Rabbi Moshe Deutsch, who was in charge of the Kollel, in Tamuz 1912, from Deyzh and was handwritten and signed by him. In his letter, he refers to the distribution of funds between the Kollelim, recalling that the holy Rav Rabbi Yisroel of Vizhnitz, the author of the Ahavat Yisroel, calculated how much was allocated to him. He also describes some Dinei Torah and the compromise that was reached.

The Rebbe of Deyzh notes that there are people from varied Kollelim who are battle-tested and have devoted people unlike his people:  ‘המה מלומדי מלחמה ויש להם אנשים במסירת נפש ממש ואנשים דכוללנו או מפה אינם באופן זה כלל ואינם מסוגלים בשום אופן לדבר זה חרף חשש ממון וד"ל’. He then ends his letter by stating that he is working for the greater good.
