Letter of blessings on charity matters handwritten by the holy Rav Rabbi Yaakov Elimelech of Deyzh. Deyzh, 1936.
The letter was sent to Rabbi Avraham Zvi Friedman, the secretary of Chevrat Tomchei Torah. In it, the Zichron Yaakov asks for help for the wedding of a family member.
The Rebbe of Deyzh sends blessings for good health and salvation: ‘שיחזקהו ויאמצהו ויוכל לעסוק לטובת הכלל עוד רבות בשנים מתוך בריאות הגוף בשלימות אכי"ר’.
The holy Rav Rabbi Yaakov Elimelech (1889-1994), author of Zichron Yaakov of Deyzh. Received his Semicha at a young age by Gedolei Hador. Served as
Rav in Marosh-Avivor. In 1926, was appointed the young Rav of Deyzh, where he also headed its yeshiva. After his father’s passing, he succeeded him as Av Beis Din and Admor. He was murdered in Auschwitz in Sivan 1944.
