Rabbi Meir Leibush Malbim (1809-1879) one of Gedolei Yisroel. Was famed for his genius alongside his struggle against the members of the Enlightenment Movement and Reform Judaism. In his youth, he was known as the Iluy of Vohlin and studied Torah with Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Tiktin and Rabbi Zvi Hirsch of Ziditchov. In his youth he authored the book Artzot Hachaim, which was enthusiastically approbated by leading contemporary rabbis. Served as Rav of several towns. When he was Rav of Bucharest, he was persecuted by the members of the Enlightenment Movement, who led to his being deported from Romania to Bulgaria.
The Chassid Rav Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Porush Trachtenberg (1850-1892) was laid to rest beside his father, Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Porush Trachtenberg, who had immigrated in 1826 with his father, Rabbi Zvi Hirsch, with the immigration of the Prushim to Eretz Yisroel after a dangerous journey from Kushta to Jerusalem.
