Letter by the famed holy Rav Rabbi Avraham Yehoshua Heshil of Machnovka with blessings to the supporters of a sanatorium for mother and child which was being built in Bnei Berak.
The holy Rav added two lines with his handwritten signature and stamp. The letter was sent in his early days in Israel, to which he immigrated in 1965.
The holy Rav Rabbi Avraham Yehoshua Heshil of Machnovka [1895-1988] succeeded his father the famed holy Rav Rabbi Yosef Meir as the Admor of Machnovka. Dedicated himself to supporting the Jews of the USSR and due to his activity, was arrested in 1932 and sent to Syberia. After his release, he remained in the USSR to continue helping its Jews. Immigrated to Israel in 1965 and established the Machnovka court in Bnei Berak. Was revered by the Tzaddikim of his generation.
