Letter of approbation and blessing sent by the Gaon Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Hacohen Kook to Rabbi Moshe Avigdor Amiel, Rav of the Shomrei Hadat community of Antwerp and future Rosh Av Beis Din of Tel Aviv Yaffo.
In his letter, he confirms he received the book El Ami and blesses the writer with warm blessings: ‘שיזכה לראות בחמלת השי"ת על עמו ונחלתו לראות בטוב ד’ בארץ החיים בשום עם הקודש אל נוה הקודש’.
Rabbi Kook’s blessing was indeed fulfilled when several years later, Rabbi Amiel immigrated to the Holy Land and served as Rav in Tel Aviv.
