The books of Zikaron Zot, Zot Zikarin and Divrei Emet, in a single volume, by the holy Rav the Chozeh of Lublin. The press of Yaakov Herschenhorn and Moshe Schneidmeser, Lublin, 1890. Volume that had belonged to Rabbi Yehuda Leib Schneerson of Veliz.
44, 35; 37 leaves. 22 cm. With several ownership notations on the front flyleaf of Rabbi Yehuda Leib Schneerson of Veliz: "שייך להרה"ג המפורסם מוה"ר יהודא ליב שניאורסון וועליז", and his Hebrew and foreign signatures on the back flyleaf. With stamps of Chaim Yosef kaufman and several handwritten glosses.
Rabbi Yehuda Leib (ben Rabbi Shneur) Schneerson – a famed Rav and Tzaddik, the great-grandson of the Mitteler Rebbe. Rav of Veliz, Vitebsk disctrict. Is mentioned in the history of the family of the Rav of Liadi, the genealogy of the Baal Hatanya, no. 117. Is also mentioned several times in Igrot Hakodesh HaRashab and in Otzar Harabbanim 7426.
Semi-leather binding, worn and partly detached. Stains. Blemishes to the corners of the [3] last leaves of Sefer Zikaron Zot. Fair-good condition.
