Mishnayot Seder Kodashim, Amsterdam, 1726. Signed copy that had belonged to the holy Rav Rabbi Nachum Dober Friedman, the son of the holy Rav of Sadigura and the famed owner of the large and important library. 

Mishnayot Seder Kodashim, with the commentary of Rabbo Ovadya of Bartentura, Tosfot Yom Tov, Kol Haremez and Lechem Mishneh. Second edition printed in Amsterdam at the house and printery of the Dayan Rabbi Moshe Frankfurt in 1726. 

On the title page, the Hebrew and foreign stamps of ‘נחום דובער פרידמאן’ with the lion logo and a stamp of  ‘קנין כספי’ which appeared in books he had purchased. 

On the flyleaf, a red note with gilt lettering is mounted: ‘אוצר הספרים של מו"ה נחום דוב פרידמאן בסאדאגורא’. 

Addiitonal notations on the title page: ‘הספר הזה שייך להאלוף הקצין המפורסם כ"ה זלמן בן כה’ נפתלי מביידן אניעהן בשטאטבערג’. An additional ownership signature of Levi Yitzchak Kahana. In addition, notation of verses in important rabbinic script on the title page and flyleaf.

The holy Rav Rabbi Nachum Dov Ber Friedman [1844-1883] the son of the holy Rav Rabbi Sholom Yosef of Ruzhin and the son-in-law of the holy Rav Rabbi Avraham Yaakov of Sadigura, a great Torah and Chassidus Gaon. Lived his entire life in the court of his father-in-law in Sadigura. His large library contained many rare books and manuscripts and was one of the most important and renowned libraries of his time. The Gaon author of ‘Yad Yehuda’ the Rav of Sadigura writes in his foreword to his Sefer ‘And when I came here to Sadigura I found what my soul loved in the house of my relative the Tzaddik Rav the son of the holy Nachum Dov who has a collection of rare books by ancient authors which is unparalleled. Used to stamp his books with three stamps – Minchas Shai (gift), Yerushas Avos (inheritance), Kinyan Kaspi (bought with my money).
