Letter by the holy Rav Rabbi Avraham Yehoshua Heschel of Kopitshnitz, in the lifetime of his father the holy Rav Rabbi Yitzchak Meir. Vienna, 1934.
Letter by the head of Agudas Yisroel in Vienna, the tzaddik Gaon Rabbi Shabtai Sheinfeld, confirming that Rabbi Zaltzman, a refugee from Russia, is a decent man, worthy of immigrating to Eretz Yisroel.
The letter was sent to the leaders of Agudas Yisroel in Jerusalem in Tishrei 1934. To confirm what is said, the writer notes the Tzaddik Rav Rabbi Avraham Yehoshua Heschel, the son of the Admor of Kopitshnitz, will sign the letter.
The leaf was indeed hand-signed by the holy Rav Rabbi Avraham Yehoshua Heschel of Kopitshnitz, who also added his personal stamp.
