Mysterious letter with his handwritten blessings handwritten and about the search for the Ten Tribes handwritten by Rabbi Yechizkiya Fisch of Mateszalka-Hades. 1930.
The letter has two parts: at its beginning, his blessings and advice for the success of the medical operations and Naches from all their offspring:
‘אפעראציא ברפואה שלמה, לנחת מכל יוצאי חלציכם, השי"ת יוצאיו מצרה לרווחה, ויושיעכם וירום קרנכם במזל טוב וברכה מרובה ותמצא חן וחסד בעיני כל רואה, כי אין מעצור ביד ד’ להושיע אם רב אם מעט בישן או בחדש’.
And additional lines of blessing.
The second part of the letter, on its verso, describes the efforts to find the Ten Lost Tribes.
The Tzaddik Gaon Rabbi Yechizkiya Fisch notes the efforts of his uncle Rabbi Akiva Yosef Schlesinger, author of Lev HaIvri of Jerusalem, the organization that was established for the purpose of finding the Tribes and additional actions taken.
Unique and historical.
The Admor Rabbi Yechizkiya Fisch of Mateszalka-Hades [1885-1944] the son of the holy Rav Rabbi Aharon Yeshaya Fisch Av Beis Din of Hades and son-in-law of Rabbi Yisroel Waldman of Bursha (a descendant of the Bnei Yissachar and the holy Rav of Ziditchov). Succeeded his father after his passing in 1928 and then moved to Mateszalka. Was famed for his enthusiastic and devoted Avodas Hashem. In the last seven years of his life, most of his Torot and Sichot were about Mesirut Nefesh. He was murdered in Auschwitz in 1944. After his death, a note was found in one of his books with the Shem and Yichud to be said when dying on Kiddush Hashem (Eleh Ezkera, IV, [[. 70-75).
