Two corrections and glosses handwritten by the Cohen Gadol, the author, Maran the Chofetz Chaim.
On p. 46, a correction of 6 words handwritten by him. On p. 159, a gloss of 8 words handwritten by him. In this gloss, he refers to what he wrote and published in his second book: ‘מה שתקננו זה כי נעתק בטעות’ (I have corrected what has been copied by mistake). Based on these corrections, the second edition, Vilna 1877, was revised.
