Request form to immigrate to the Holy Land for the great Gaon, the Rosh Yeshiva Great Rabbi David Povarsky, his wife and sons, headed by his son the great Gaon, the Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi Berl Povarsky Shlita. 1938.
The certificate was written and signed by the Gaon Rabbi Shachne Kolditzky, the future Roah Yeshiva of HaYishuv Hachadash – given and submitted in Jerusalem in Kislev 1938.
Rabbi David Povarsky then served in varied yeshivas and eventually served as the Rosh Yeshiva of Ponovezh. The form states that he is 44 and serves as Rav.
His wife, Mrs. Feige, is 30, their son Baruch Ber is 7, Chaim is 5 and Zalman is 3.
It should be noted, that after many hardships and miracles, the pedigreed family survived and reached Israel.
