The holy Rav and wonder-worker Rabbi Yehuda Horowitz of Djikov ‘Rabbi Yehuda’li Djikover’ [1905-1989], the son of Rabbi Alter Yechezkel Eliyahu of Djikov, the son and son and successor of the Aterest Yeshu’ah of Djikov. His mother, Chava, was the daughter the holy Rav the Ahavas Yisroel of Vizhnitz and Rabbi Yehuda’li was his leading disciple. By his first marriage, he was the son-in-law of his uncle the holy Rav the Imrei Chaim of Vizhnitz.
Despite many pleadings, he refused to establish a Chassidic court. He lived in Jerusalem and served as Ram and Mashpi’ah of the Beis Yosef Zvi Dushinsky Yeshiva. In his old age, he moved to London.
