Letter of friendship sent by the holy Rav the Yeshu’os Moshe of Vizhnitz with the plans and travel arrangements of his holy father the Imrei Chaim and his strong desire to be in the Shikun during the holy days, 1962.
At the end of the letter, he sends his regards to his dear and beloved brother, the holy Rav the Toras Mordechai of Viznhitz Monsey.
At the beginning of the letter, which was sent to the famed Chassid Rabbi Yoseel Steinmetz, the Yeshu’os Moshe informs that he gave Rabbi Steinmetz’s letter to the Imrei Chaim, who replied that it was out of the question to spend the Yamim Nora’im in America for several reasons.
The Imrei Chaim told his son that he wished to be in Shikun Vizhnitz on the Yamim Nora’im.
As indicated by the letter, the Yeshu’os Moshe wanted to help the American Chasisdim who desired to observe the Avodas Hakodesh of the Imrei Chaim on the Yamim Nora’im, apologizes, saying that he could do nothing more due to his father’s strong objection to the idea.
The Yeshu’os Moshe ends his letter with many blessings: ‘איך שיהא, יהא שנה טובה ומתוקה לנו ולכל ישראל אכי’’ר’ and then adds additional lines of blessing for the New Year.
On the margins of the letter, he refers to the famed Vizhnitzer Chassid ’רבי עבר ווייס הגדול’ and then adds a line of longing to his dear brother.
This letter, handwritten by the Imrei Chaim’s son, is extremely rare, referring to the plans of the Imrei Chaim and to his son, the writer’s brother, the Toras Mordechai.
