Two full pages laden with Divrei Torah handwritten by the holy Gaon of Greiditz Rabbi Eliyahu Guttmacher.

Divrei Torah handwritten by the holy Gaon of Greiditz dealing with the Dinim and writing and wearing Tefillin.

The second part deals with the Midrashim of the scroll of destruction – Eichah, elucidating at length the verse ‘על זה היה דוה לבנו’.

To the best of our knowledge, this manuscript was not printed although it looks like it was written in preparation for its printing, with erasures and changes made by the Tzaddik of Greiditz himself.

The holy Gaon Rabbi Eliyahu Guttmacher of Greiditz [1796-1875] one of the greatest disciples of Rabbi Akiva Eiger, a wonder worker whom thousands revered. Loved Eretz Yisroel with all his heart and was famed for his work for its settlement.

[1] leaf, written on both sides. Erasures made by the holy Gaon of Greiditz himself. Wear and a tear in the center of the text affecting some words. Placed in a fine new leather binding. Good-very good condition.
