A sheet handwritten by Maran the Chasam Sofer of Pressburg, on the Sugyot of Perek Notel of Masechet Shabbat. Complete issues and handwritten glosses he added to them.

All the Sugyot deal with a single issue of Perek Notel and he answers the Kushiyot of the Tosfot and explains the words of the Gemore, Rashi and Tosfot.

Maran the Chasaf Sofer proofread the sheet and added his handwritten glosses – writing ‘עיי’ בהשמטות נ"א ע"ב’ and referring to the words of Hagahot maimoniyot and the Mordechai.

The sanctity of the Chidushei Torah of the Chasam Sofer handwritten by him is well-known. Many of the disciples, Adirei Torah, believe that the manuscript itself is a tried and true Segulah for Yiras Shamayim and Yeshu’ah.

Leading rabbis also saw his manuscripts as a Segulah for being rescued from fire.

The holy Gaon the Maharam Benet as well as the holy Rav Rabbi Yoel of Satmar said that just looking at a manuscript by the Chasam Sofer is a Segulah for Yiras Shamayim.

56 lines handwritten by him, a single leaf written on both sides. Wear to edges. Minor restoration. Placed in an impressive leather binding. Good-very good condition.
