Letter for a happy and Kosher Passover handwritten by the great Gaon Rabbi Akiva Glasner, the Rav of Klausenburg, 1946.

The letter which was handwritten by him was sent from Zurich, where he lived after the Holocaust, to Rabbi Leifer of Brooklyn. In it, he wonders how can one pray and ask for freedom in the awful state the Jewish People are in. Yet he finds comfort in the prayer written in the Passover Haggadah: לשנה הבאה בירושלים הבנויה.

The letter is handwritten and signed by Rabbi Glasner.

The great Gaon Rabbi Akiva Glasner [1886-1957] the Rav of Klausenburg, the son of the great Gaon Rabbi Moshe Shmuel Glasner author of Dor Revi’i, a great-grandson of Maran the Chasam Sofer.
