40 densely written pages in the fine eloquent script of the great Gaon Rabbi Akiva Glasner Rosh Av Beis Din of Klausenburg, who followed in his forefathers’ footsteps with Chidushei Sugyos of the Shas, mainly on Masechet Gittin.
‘Chidushei Torah on Tractate Gittin what G-d has bestowed on me during a lesson … by the yeshiva students which we began in winter 1903 here in Klausenburg’.
In many of the innovations, he deals with the Torah of his grandfather Marana the Chasam Sofer. The title of his father’s Sefer, Dor Revi’i, implies his pedigree.
In the innovations on Tractate Gittin, he introduces also innovations by his father ‘Avi Mori Shalita … the great Gaon author of Dor Revi’i’.
He ends one of the Sugyos with the words ‘And my G-d direct me on the true path to the truths of the Toray by merit of my holy fathers…’.
