One of the final signatures of the holy Gaon author of the Lev HaIvri Rabbi Akiva Yosef Schlesinger in a letter expressing his gratitude for a donation – 1921.

The letter was written by his son, the Gaon Rav Rabbi Eliyahu Schlesinger, expressing his gratitude to the religious activist Rabbi Uri Pelshin, one of the rabbis of Manhatten, for a donation of a large sum of money for the Tzaddik Gaon, the Lev HaIvri, himself.

‘Worthy is the Mitzvah to protect you a thousand folds and wherever he turns, he shall succeed’. He signed his name ‘Eliyahi Schlesinger the son of the renowned Tzaddik Gaon author of Sefer Lev HaIvri’.

Beneath this, the Lev HaIvri himself added his weak yet clear signature.
