Two sections of Shut Imrei Esh, by the Gaon Rabbi Meir Esh of Ungvar. First edition. Lemberg, 1852 and section II of the Ungvar 1864 edition, published by the author’s son Rabbi Menachem Esh. 

The personal copy of the author’s grandson, the Tzaddik gaon Rabbi Meir Greenwald, the son of  the Tzaddik Gaon Rabbi Yaakov. who gave the book as a gift to his in-law, the famed Gaon Rabbi Yehoshua Baruch Reinitz Av Beis Din of Chechnovich, author of the Michtavim, the son-in-law of Maran the Menuchas Asher of Tshenger. 

On the title page, the notation: ‘שאול הספר הזה לכבוד מר אבא סבא קדישא הגאון דק"ק טעשטעוויץ שליט"א מאת אבי מורי מו"ה מאיר גרינוואלד נ"י מכפר נאטאפאלווא – נאצענעוויטש יצ"ו’. In addition, ownership notations and signatures of Rabbi Meir Greenwald. 

The leaves with the list of subscribers refer to the Gaon Rabbi Yehoshua Av Beis Din of Balkan, on which he added and corrected ‘now in Chechnovich’.

the Tzaddik Gaon Rabbi Meir Greenwald the son of Rabbi Yaakov , published the book Beit Yaakov and was the son-in-law of Rabbi Yehoshua Baruch Reinitz, Baal Hamichtavim. 

The Tzaddik Gaon Rabbi Yehoshua Baruch Reinitz, the son of Rabbi Nosson Feitel and son-in-law of the Menuchas Asher of Tshenger. Was a disciple of the Maharam Esh of Ungvar. Rav of the Balkan and eventually, Av Beis Din of Chechvich. Author of Hamichtavim and Teshuvah MeAhava. 

[3], 82, [2], 95, [2] leaves. Restoration with old paper to the title page and the last leaves. Wide stains.
