Rare, elegant copy with an additional title page.
Fine, complete copy, very well-preserved, of the two volumes of the Divrei Chaim, on the Torah and Masechet Bava Metz’iah by Maran Rabbi Chaim of Sanz, which was published in the first year after the passing of Maran Rabbi Chaim Halberstam of Sanz. Published by his pious sons and with their foreword. The press of the Naggid Rabbi Pinchas Blaier. Munkatch, 1877-1878.
In the first volume, an addiitonal cover-like title page on bluish card. Extremely rare.
Volume I: [3], 1-84, [5] leaves. Handwritten glosses in several places. Varied notations. Minor stains.
Volume II: [2], 1-72, 48 leaves, Ownership notations of Shmuel Walberg and Binyomin Kornhaier. The title page and the last leaf are slightly worn. Dark leaves, slightly dry, well=preserved and complete.
New impresive leather binding. Very good overall condition.
