Family letter by the Admor, the Birkas Avraham of Slonim – 1950s.
Most of the letter was handwritten by his wife, the pious Rebbetzin Hadassah (the daughter of the famed Chassid Rabbi Mordechai Leader) in Yiddish. Only the 8 upper lines were handwritten by the Birkas Avraham.
The Admor Rabbi Avraham Weinberg (the third) of Slonim, author of the Birkat Avraham [1881-1981] the nephew and leading disciple of the Admor the Divrei Shmuel of Slonim. Was one of the leaders of the Ashkenazic Chareidi community of Tiberius and supported the Gaon Rabbi Moshe Kliers, author of Torat HaAretz, with everything pertaining to the spiritual character of the town. In 1955, he became the Admor of Slonim, living in Tiberius until ca. 1960, when he moved to Jerusalem. His Sichot and letters were published on the series of books Birkat Avraham and Nachal Eitan.
