[16], 141 leaves. 22 cm. Printed on verso of the title page are lines of dedication. On them, the Baba Sali added [3] handwritten lines to Mr. Yehdua Cohen.
Rabbi David ben Rabbi Massud Abuhatzeira (1866-1919) was a disciple of his grandfather Rabbi Yaakov Abuhatzeira the ‘Abir Yaakov’ and the disciple of his uncle Rabbi Yitzchak Abuhatzeira. Dedicated himself to the study of the Torah, Niglhe and Nistar, diligently and with holiness. Author of the Seforim "Petach HaOhel", "Reisha VeSeifa" and "Sechel Tov". Was executed by canon fire, on the midst of Sabbath in Kislev (1919), by order of Mulai Mohammed al-Qasim, the leader of the rebels against the French rule. His brother, the Baba Sali, mourned him for years.
