Lengthy Yiddish letter written on the stationery of her late husband the holy Gaon Rabbi Yosef Leib Sofer of Paks, which was sent to the Jerusalemite philanthropist Rabbi Tzaddok Kroiz, who was the secretary of Kollel Shomreo HaChomos of Jerusalem. The letter deals with matters of the Kollel and with charity and refers to the great Geonim the Da’as Sofer of Pressburg and the holy Gaon Rabbi Moshe David Teitelbaum of Lapish, the grandson of the Maran the Yismach Moshe.
She also describes her situation and deals with matters pertaining to the distribution of the Seforim of her holy husband.
The Tzaddik Gaon Rabbi Yosef Leib Sofer of Paks [1861-1918] author of Yalkus Sofer, Likutei Sofer and additonal Seforim. Av Beis Din of Deretshke and Paks, the son of the holy Gaon Rabbi Eliezer Sussman Sofer Av Beis Din of Paks author of Yalkus Eliezer. Rabbi Yosef Leib was a disciple of the greatest rabbis of Hungary including the Sheves Sofer of Pressburg and Rabbi Moshe Zekil Folk of Bonyhad.
His wife, the pious Rebbetzin was the daughter of the holy Gaon Rabbi david Yehuda Folk the son of the holy Gaon Rabbi Zekil.
