Fascinating Halachic responsum pertaining to removing one’s hair with a razor for medical purposes, handwritten by the holy Gaon Rabbi Mordechai Leib Winkler Av Beis Din and Ram of Mad, the author of the Levushei Mordechai. 1928.
The responsum was sent to a Jew suffering from a severe skin disease and his only cure was to remove his hair with a razor.
The holy Gaon of Mad copies from books by Acharonim and contemporary Poskim and then copies a responsum he himself had sent one of the rabbis. With his handwritten signature at the end.
The responsum was printed in Siman 384.
[1] leaf handwritten and signed by the Gaon Rabbi Mordechai Leib Winkler of mad and with his signature. Wear. Signs of erasures and ink stains. Fold lines. Good-very good condition.
