Rabbi Daniel ben Rabbi Moshe David Tirani (1740-1814) one of the sages of Italy. A disciple of his grandfather Rabbi Daniel Nachamu and a leading disciple of Rabbi Shimshon Morpurgo. He travelled constantly from one Jewish community to another, serving as a Darshan in Ancona, Rav in Ponty and Dayan in Pissaro. Since 1790 served as Rab and Av Beis Din of Florence. Author of Ikraei Hadat, Ketav Hadat, Matnat Yad, Se’udat Mitzvah and more.
Rabbi Binyomin Sheinfeld (1872-1939) studied at the yeshiva of the author of the Kedushas Yom Tov in Siget and was a Siget Chassid. In ca. 1913 was appointed Av Beis Din of Ermiholipolva and manager of its yeshiva, succeeding his father, Rabbi Moshe Yochanon (a disciple of the Ketav Sofer and author of Nachalei Matim). Was the son-in-law of Rabbi Mordechai Freund of Satmar. Rabbi Binyomin’s innovations on the Shas were published in Sefer She’erit Binyomim. His seven children were murdered in Auschwitz.
