Shulchan Aruch Orach Chaim with Sharei teshuvah and Yad Ephraim, section II – Ostrohe, 1836 – copy of the Gaon Rabbi Yehoshua Auerbach of Brisk-Kuyavsk (the Imrei Binah’s brother) with his handwritten signature

This Shulchan Arucu, the Ostrohe 1836 edition, is in exactly the same format as the first edition that was printed in Dubno in 1820. 

A signature on the front guard leaf: "יהושע פ[א]לק אויערבאך".

This copy was bought by the Gaon Rabbi Yehoshua Auerbach Av Beis Din of Brisk-Kuyavsk (Brześć Kujawski, Poland), the Imrei Binah’s brother, from Rabbi Moshe Zalman Lifshitz. 


Appearing on the front guard leaf is the seller’s dedication: : "מנחת זכרון למזכרת עולם איך שמכרתי אני ח"מ את הב’ חלקי הש"ע הלזו להרב החריף המאה"ג שלשלת היוחסין אב"ד דק"ק בריסק יצ"ו, ולראי’ באתי עהח"ת משה זלמן ליפשיטץ".


On the title page, signatures and stamp of "משה זלמן ליפשיטץ משטעקשין".
