Special letter handwritten and signed by Rabbi Meirl of Amshinov with blessings by his father Rabbi Shimon Sholom of Amshinov. New York, 1952.

The letter deals with a variety of subjects: the Rebbe expresses his gratitude for the Tzitziyos he was given, the Mishloach Manot that was delivered and the Passover Haggadah; in his modesty, he pleads not to invest money in gifts for him.

The majority of the letter deals with the health of Rabbi Shimon Sholom, Mazel Tov for the Shiduch of the daughter of the Amshinover Chassid and famed dignitary Rabbi Avraham Treiger and an important matter the Rav Rabbi Shimon Sholom asked that he deal with – a worthy retirement home for a Chassid living in Tel Aviv.

The Rebbe also sends regards from his beloved son-in-law the Gaon Rabbi Chaim Milikovsky, the father of the Tzaddik Rebbe of Amshinov.

The Rebbe ends his letter with his blessings: מאחל לכם ברכת חג כשר יעלוז בקודש הלולים להשי"ת ויקויים בנו כימי צאתך וגו’ אראנו נפלאות’.

And adds a blessing by his father Rabbi Shimon Sholom of Amshinov: ברכת החג נתונה לך מאאמו"ר הרה"ק שליט"א ומברכות פיו תבורך בישועה והרוחה ושתוכל לבשר ולשמח בבשורות טובות.
