Letter of Divrei Torah and charity handwritten by Rabbi Yechiel Yehoshua of Biala. Jerusalem, 1957.
The Rebbe writes the letter to his relative, Rabbi David, encouraging him to act with the Sephardic Jew, to organize a delegation and to encourage Rabbi Eliezer Meltzer to make efforts as well.
For the letter not to remain without Divrei Torah, the Rebbe adds his elucidation on the verse ראה אנכי, apparently from the Divrei Torah he said on Sabbath before writing this letter (see Hebrew catalog text).
The Rebbe ends his letter with warm blessings: ובכן ישפיע השי"ת שפע ברכה מקודם על סמך העתיד יתברך כמשאלות לבו לטובה בבריאות השלימות ובכתיבה וחתימה טובה ובשנה טובה וחיים טובים וארוכים and signed his name in a personal, friendly manner ‘יחיאל’ , without his family name or the town Biala.
[1] official stationery of the Rebbe. Tears due to wear and minor fold lines. Very good condition.
