Lengthy letter handwritten entirely by Rabbi Yisroel of Husiatyn, the eldest Tzaddik of his generation and the last grandson of Ateres Tiferes Yisroel of Ruzhin, sent to his daughter Mrs. Chava. In Yiddish. 1937.

On the margins of the letter, an addition of lines by his daughter the Rebbetzin Mrs. Chaya Sarah, the wife of Maran the Ohalei Yaakov of Husiatyn, who also writes to her sister.

The Rav of Husiatyn writes to his daughter in Yiddish about their health with blessings for her good health. Then the letter discusses a certain apartment, comparing its price to an apartment in Tel Aviv. The Rebbe notes that she should contact the daughter of ‘Shlomoleh’ – we do not know to whom he is referring.

the letter ends with a blessing for a happy and Kosher Pesach: אגיטן יו"ט, זייא געזונד, מנאי אביך וואס ווינשט כ"ט ישראל [your father who blesses you with all the best, Yisroel. his name].

The Rav Rabbi Yisroel of Husiatyn [1858-1948] the eldest of the Tzaddikim of his generation, revered by thousands, who to this day utter his name with awe. A spiritual pillar for the Jewish Nation, who was called by the Holy Rabbi Aharon of Belz ‘Tzaddik Yessod Olam’ and ‘HaRabbi’. The intensity of his prayers and Avodas Hashem was legendary when the Nazis under General Rommel’s command approached Eretz Yisroel during the El Alamein battles.
