Card with blessings for a good and sweet year and abundance of blessing and success, handwritten and signed by the famed Rav Rabbi Chaneh Halberstam of Koloshitz.
Printed on the card:
‘ב"ה. רישא יצ"ו.
החיים והשלום אל כבוד הרבני הנגיד הנדיב וכו’ מו"ה …….נ"י לנכון הגיע לידי המשלוח של סך……….. ויתברך בשפע ברכה והצלחה וכל טוב סלה. ועליו חתום ומודפס שמו של הצדיק ‘חנה הלברשטאם אבד"ק קאלאשיטץ חופ"ק הנ"ל’.
On the printed card, the famed Tzaddik and wonder-worker, Rabbi Chaneh Halberstam of Koloshitz, handwrote the details of the philanthropist, the Rav Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Halevi, ‘known as Steinmetz’.
In a rare manner, the Rav added the follwoing words: ובשנה טובה ומתוקה ידי’ הדו"ש הטוב בלו"נח [=ידידו דורש שלומו הטוב בלב ונפש חפצה] חנה הלברשטאם.
Rabbi Chaneh of Koloshitz also added the date of receiving the money: ‘ב’ נצבים’.
Rabbi Chaneh Halberstam of Koloshitz [1884-1943] the son of Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Pristik the grandson of Rabbi David of Kshanov the son of the Gaon Rabbi Chaim of Sanz. Was a famed wonder-worker whose prayers miraculously saved many.
