Hora’ah Semicha handwritten by the Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Vishova and with his signature, 1937.

The Semicha document is handwritten by Maran of Vishova about the important Bachur Naftali Hertzil Foigel, a student of his yeshiva and eventually, an important Vizhnitz Chassid in Israel.

The Semicha document is written in his fine, curly script and with his signature and stamp.

The Rav of Vishava, the Gaon Rabbi Menachem Mendel Hager [1885-1941], the eldest son of the Holy Rav author of the Ahavas Yisroel of Vizhnitz. Since 1908, he served as the Rav of Vizhnitz and the Rosh Yeshiva of the Beis Yisroel Yeshiva. In 1921, he was appointed Av Beis Din of Vishava and there too established a large yeshiva that was the largest in Romania with more than 400 students. In 1936, after the passing of his father the Ahavas Yisroel, he started serving as Admor and was admiringly and lovingly titled "Rabbi Mendel of Vishava". He continued teaching at his yeshiva and worked in the entire Ramrush district for supporting Torah and religion. By this, he was one of the leaders of the Agudas Yisroel movement and a member of Moetzes Gedolei HaTorah.
