Large work handwritten by the Gaon the Maharatz Chajes on Sugyot of the Shas. Not published.
This work deals with Sugyot of Dinei Treifot and Kodashim handwritten entirely by the Gaomn the Maharatz Chajes, who was one of the Geonim of the generation and corresponded with Maran the Chasam Sofer. Thousands all around the world study his Hagahot on the Shas.
The famed Gaon Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Chajes [1806-1856] was famed for his basic Hagahot on the Shas. Was one of the Geonim of Ashkenaz and Galicia. Rav of Zholkva and Kalisch.
[6] leaves placed in a binder, a kind of small notebook. Written on both sides. A total of [12] written pages. Wear, aging and ink stains, affecting several words. Good condition.
