Psak Din signed by the Geonim Rabbi David Babad of Sniatyn to the heads of Kollel Estreich – Kollel Austria, and the Gaon Rabbi Raphel Zilberman about charity for a widow. 1892.
Signed in Adar 1892.
The Psak is handwritten by Rabbi Raphael Zilbermand and signed by him and by the Gaon Rabbi David Babad of Sniatyn as well.
The Gaon Rabbu Raphael Zilberman [1839-1918] the Rav of the Ashkenazic community of Safed.
The Gaon Rabbi David Babad Av Beis Din of Sniatyn [passed away in 1894] the son of the Gaon author of the Minchas Chinuch, the nephew of the Divrei Chaim of Sanz. Succeeded his father as Av Beis Din of Sniatyn and later, immigrated to Safed, where he served as Rav until his passing.
