Letter by Rabbi Sholom Monskovich of Schotz London and his son Rabbi Yisroel Yaakov, to their relative Rabbi Yosef David of Schotz. Not dated.
In their letter, they take interest in distributing the writings of the Tzaddik rav Rabbi Yitzchak of Schotz Radovich, Rabbi Sholom’s brother-in-law.
The Gaon Rabbi Sholom of Schotz [1878-1958] a descendant of the Zlotchov, Belz and Premishlan Chassidisms. One of the greatest Admorim of his generation. A famed wonder worker. Knowledgeable in all parts of the Torah. Was famed for the power of his prayers. Served as Rav of Schotz since 1903. In 1927 he moved to London. In his last will and testament, he promised to stir pity in Heaven for anyone who comes to his gravesite, lights two candles for the ascent of his soul and takes on to strengthen in a Mitzvah or the study of the Torah.
