Pair of Kosher Tefillin, Mehudarot, made by the Gaon Rav Rabbi Netanel Sofer Tefillinski.

Tefillin shel Yad: square of the Bayit: 30X30X30 mm. Square of the Titure (without the Ma’avarta): 48X48 cm. Length of Titura with the Ma’avarta: 66 mm.

Tefillin shel Rosh: 30X30X30 mm. Square of the Titure (without the Ma’avarta): 48X48 cm. Length of Titura with the Ma’avarta: 66 mm.

The cases of the Batei Tefillin are original. Mounted inside the case of the Tefillin shel Rosh is a printed leaf, for the "scribe who proofreads the Tefillin", explaining that they were done with Hidur by which the Charitzim of the four Batim reach the stitch itself.

The Tefillin were examined by the expert scribe and proofreader Rabbi Yaakov Nachum Lang, who confirmed that they were definitely written by Rabbi Netanel Sofer Tefillinski and they are Kosher and in good and Mehudar condition. The Parashiyot of the Tefillin went through a computerized text and their photocopy is enclosed with the item.

The Tzaddik scribe Rabbi Netanel Tefillinski (1866-1918) dedicated half of his life to the making of perfect Tefillin. He used to make the vellum and the ink himself by a unique process that made them Kosher, fine and durable. The Parashiyot were then written by him in sanctity and purity, while he wrapped in a Talit and Tefillin.

Rabbi Tefillinski’s Tefillin were famed as fine and Mehudarot and many leading rabbis asked him to write their Tefillin, praising his quality workmanship.

The Tefillin are in excellent condition, as new. Original Tefillin straps, as new. The cases of the Batei Tefillinn are original and worn.
